They condemn homosexuals with the same hypocrisy they defend another "abomination" mentioned in Leviticus and echoed by Paul: a woman wearing clothing that could be worn by a man. The actual term for how a woman should dress translates to "a long, loose-fitting (dress)". The bible says a gay relationship is an "abomination". A woman wearing pants is likewise the same thing - an "abomination", and damnable. But interpretation, as always, is a matter of convenience and personal prejudice.
Reform Judaism as a rule supports gay rights, understanding that the term "abomination" in the OT applies to rirtualistic law, not moral law. Ritualistic law is actually intended to change over time, as people become more enlightened.
E.g., there's a verse in Matthew 19 which quotes Jesus: That's a reference to ritualistic law, which applied at a certain time but not always. Homosexuality and women wearing jeans are the same kind of anachronistic ritual laws that should be recognized as passe.

That is a good question...for some reason Christians, but not all of us, like to pick and choose which of the Leviticus Laws they want to follow.
Christians...once and for all....If you are a Christian you are free of ALL the Leviticus Laws. You can't pick an choose. If you are a TRUE Christian then you are under the law of Grace and Love as bought by Jesus Christ in His Resurrection!

Christians don't believe all the laws in Leviticus are done away with. Also, the prohibition of homosexuality is explicitly re-iterated in the New Testament so even without the Leviticus passage, Christians would still believe the practice of homosexuality to be a sin.

That is a good question. But most Christians divide OT laws into three groups, civil, ceremonial, and moral. Moral laws still apply while the civil (theocratic) and ceremonial (religious sacrifice, rules) do not. Homosexuality, especially since repeated in the NT, is clearly a moral law.

The act of homsexuality is still mentioned in the New Testament as forbidden.
EDIT...Dog Sneeze explains it quite well.

Because it's all they've got. Bet they're at an all-you-can-eat seafood buffet while they're quoting that scripture, too.
