If it would be possible for them to race over a short distance, which would be faster, a human or a household cat?

The only way you can catch a cat is to corner it, so I'm guessing the cat would win. Ever seen one streak across the yard running after a bird or away from a dog? They're way faster than we can move.

I don't know, but I can always catch my cat. Probably 'cause I'm smarter, not faster. I'm guessing the cat would win in the sprint.

Lol...cats can not use their mind like human does so they would not know their destination so how they gonna race human? Still for experience, you can try it. Good luck ...lol.
