What I wish is someone would grow some of these folks a brain. Take the nutjob above me there...

It amazes me how some people can so COMPLETELY miss the point of a question, and simply respond with insults and anger. Some people simply don't WANT to know the truth. It's heartbreaking. It really is.

LOL... prosthetics... I'd like to hear what she comes up with when she's high... :)

5th question today regarding amputees and god. Number one, humans lack the genetic and biological makeup to regenerate a limb. But there is something called a prosthetic. Have you heard of that? Nah I highly doubt you have. Having a prosthetic for an arm rather than no arm is much better and I guess their prayers have been answered. Bless day to you.
p.s. heck I'll go ahead and ask it, do you think God can make me fly and give me magical powers like wonder woman? I surely hope so.

You are making an excellent point with this question. Christians are using all sorts of medical long shots as 'proof' of the power of prayer. Educated people see these as normal occurrences dictated by statistical probabilities. Limb regeneration for humans at this point in time lies outside the realm of statistical probability so that would be the actual proof of power of prayer that they are looking for. Conversely, If it has never ever happened, we can pretty much dismiss power of prayer as a valid concept. Now we just sit back and watch the documented examples of prayer induced limb regeneration roll in - or not.

No. And as for the starfish, that wasn't due to prayer, that was due to it's ability to do it for itself. Starfish have the ability to regenerate a lost limb entirely. No deity need intervene.

Me. It's a long story, kind of complicated, but I'm completely serious. I could feel the warm glow in my gut for a few days and then it kind of waned. When it was over, I had my toe back.

I have seen a blind woman have her sight restored. It was a pretty cool thing. I have been witness to many things, that I can't explain except that God did it.

No, and the sad reality is that's impossible--or atleast--coincidentally hasn't happened in the several millenia mankind has been around.

Only in the case of a starfish.

Although, that COULD have been this so-called "biology" religion.
