searching for truth and understanding...that's called wisdom...God doesn't want us to be mindless robots. He wants us to search for the truth...ask questions...etc, etc. This way we gain confidence and grow in our faith. We find all of its beauty this way.

Believe it or not, some Christians aren't fideists. They feel that reason is not antithetical to faith and proof IS needed in order to justify their beliefs and practices. Many Jews feel this way, too.

Some fideists, like C. Stephen Evans, author of _Faith Beyond Reason_, contend that “faith is against reason only in the sense that it runs into conflict with a concrete form of reason that is damaged.” In other words, "faith is not so much AGAINST as BEYOND reason."

Which, in my opinion, is just more faith-based gibberish, paying lip service to reason so as not to appear unreasonable, but rejecting its conclusions whenever they inconveniently disagree with the teachings of faith..

So they can give a good answer for questions like these when people who don't share in their faith want to know something. Cause if Christians don't give a good answer that makes the Christian and the asker doubt God. And if you doubt God you'll eventually deny God. And if you deny God you'll eventually want to be God. So we like to find our answers. Main problem is everyone wants to be God so they cover up the truth and it's hard to find the answers.

There are no rules and logic for religious types - they'll do anything to defend their insane beliefs in a magical sky-fairy who offers them a paradise in return for their ignorance and stupidity.

If there is evidence against him they can just say its from satan.

I don't do it. I'm tired of explaining this to non-believers.
