Yes I believe in the Rapture of the church because the bible speaks about it (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, 1 Corinthians 15:51-57, and John 14:1-3). In these scriptures it talks about the descent of Christ, the resurrection of the dead in Christ, and the change from mortal to immortal bodies for living Christians at the time of Jesus Christ's return. Those who said it was made up didn't read the bible fully (if they read it). God gives us His agenda and The Rapture is apart of that agenda to wipe away sin from the earth.

People have been proclaiming that they are living through the "end times" for waaaaay too long. There's always some unhygienic street-corner evangelist crackpot sputtering about how the world is going to end and that all the heathens better get the Lord harassed into their unsaved souls.

It STILL hasn't happened. The sky isn't falling. The oceans aren't boiling. Pigs are most definitely NOT sprouting wings and taking to the skies. They've been barking about it for years and years and years and they'll STILL be barking for years to come.

It's a scare tactic, a convenient freak- the- everliving- crap- out- of- folks magic wand that can be waved about in dramatic fashion any time the religious collective feels the soul harvest is running dry.

Trust me... go about your life. Ok, I'm sure you will anyhow considering there's really no alternative option (besides suicide, and I've heard “God” frowns upon that), but just make sure to keep in mind: STAY CALM. DON'T PANIC. EVERYTHING WILL BE FINE.

ABSOLUTELY !
The word Rapture is never used in the Bible, but it means "taken up". And the Bible is very clear that when Jesus returns we will be "taken up" (Ruptured ) to meet Him.

But beware of those fictional movies that are just that FICTION. They way we will be taken up is nothing like the movies claim.

God Bless & have a wonderful New Year!

no, but it is said that the rapture happens later in the tribulation, not at the beginning like the church preaches. read the bible. and it's hard to believe that of the billions of people on earth only 144,000 will go in it.

No. Its an unbiblical doctrine that has no historical precedent whatsoever. Invented in the 1820's to fix a major flaw in Darby's goofball Dispensationalist model.
