First of all, much like your no sex rule. You shouldn't be laying out a bunch of rules on your first date. Get to know the guy first. Let out your feelings s l o w l y or he might run away screaming....If your about no sex before marriage, don't have it with him. But I'm not so sure your "rule # 1" thing is such a good idea.

Rule number 2: you pay for all our dates. Rule number 3: you always drive. Rule number 4..... Kidding!! If that's the way you feel then that's the way you feel. You should be admired for having morals and values. Too many kids and adults these days don't.

I think if a guy bolts or if even a girl were to if they guy said no sex as there rule number one. I think the right person should respect you enough to find out more...like your reasons and if it is forever or if it is just until you are married. Trust me if they bolt they are not worth it to you.

First of all you shouldnt say NO SEX because you never know what will happen. Just let him be into you without pushing away too hard, cause honestly, if you tell a man no sex, he will just run. But if you let them know there is a possibility, or insinuate there is a possibility then they try and try and who knows, they sometimes fall in love.

I would ask you the following questions:
Did I do something that would indicate to you that sex was required?
Do you have some issues going on that cause you to be this way?
Do you have any interest in me as a person or should we just ask for the check now?

That's deep for a first date... the guy wouldn't even have the chance to get to know you to see if he is into you enough for a serious relationship. I would say after a few dates and once you saw it was going to go somewhere you should talk about it.

hahahahah thats funny. when i was single and got fed up i too did something similar. i made a Dear John letter and everybody got it right from the go. It was something to the extent of: no marriage no love, dating only, no sex drugs or rock and roll except at my discretion. etc
luckily for me i only had to dish it out twice.
got married and eight years later ....:D

I would NEVER marry someone without first finding out if we were sexually compatible. So if your rule is never or not until marriage, I would already be out of the restaurant.

Later.
I believe that sex is necessary in a relationship. I've got plenty of friends.

It would depend on how old you are. If there is never to be any sex, then you are dating to find friends not a lover.
