Pat R. is not a prophet. How many times did Jesus say something like "Lazarus is dead" and could not possible know it, yet was ALWAYS right? Did Jesus say "I have a pretty good track record"?

If God was truly talking to Pat Robertson, he would never MISS. So the most logical explanation is that Pat Robertson is just guessing and very poorly.

Pat Robertson may believe his god speaks to him, or not. I'm never quite sure about him. Sometimes it seems certain that he's sincere in his beliefs, while at other times it seems quite apparent that he's just trying to play a role. In any case, his record at correctly "prophesying" future events is quite bad. Quite bad. If he talks to his god, and that god tells him about the future, Mr. Robertson doesn't listen very well.

I tried to keep my answer mature, but I must say, in all honesty, that I think Robertson is an extremist nitwit.

Pat Robertson predicted that there would be terrorist attacks in Detroit and San Francisco in 2003, that Bush would win in a "blowout" in 2004, and that a tsunami would strike the U.S. west coast in 2006.

If he's a prophet, he should at least be getting his predictions right, shouldn't he?

yeah.... I don't know about that. I would say more of a false prophet. He is nothing like Jesus. He taught love, peace and forgiveness. Robertson has a tendency to be a bit of an extremist.

I'd recommend going into www.youtube.com and searching for videos on "Pat Robertson" particularly interesting are the video clips about his reaction to Tom Foley and the one on the illuminati hand signs.

Watch the clips and judge for yourself if this is someone following Biblical teachings.

Pat Robertson is not a prophet. He does not parallel the Bible whatsoever.

Spirits may talk to him, but they are not divine ones.

Pat Roberson is a charlatan. He has made more money spreading falsity than almost anyone I can think of, save Pres. Bush. Google some of his old prophesies.

his credibility as a Christian is negated by the fact that he called for the assassination of Hugo Chavez

He has said himself that not all his predictions have happened..but what is this does...Thank god that he did warn us so our gov. can prepare. If he didn't say anything and and it did happen, you all would be bashing him for not saying anything.
