How do I remove the pip (the square one) from my sharp tv screen?

My original sharp tv remote control is broken. I used a universal remote control and accidentally pressed the PIP button. The pip picture appeared on my tv screen and since then it has been there. I can't remove it, it won't go away even though how many times I pressed the PIP button. Sure do hope someone can help me with this. Thanks a lot :)

Not familiar with this TV but here is something you could try. Turn off the TV, then unplug it from the wall outlet for 5-10 minutes. Then plug the TV back in and turn it on. Hopefully that will clear out the PIP.

Hit the display button on your remote.
