I am searching for information regarding aerodynamics, load capability, maxium ceiling, armarnent, engine specs, and handling charasteristics of the English Spitfire, Hurricaine, and the American P-47 fighter plane. Would be interested in hearing from any of the pilots who flew these planes during WW 2. I am writing a book, and your name will be the credits section of my book

The Jug had eight 50BMGs on it, making it the most heavily-armed fighter airplane of the war. The Jug had a big 9-cylinder radial on it; the English offerings were V-12s and water-cooled.

If you are going to compare and contrast the Spitfire and/or Hurricaine to an American fighter of the similar age and/or production time, I would suggest maybe you compare and contrast them to the Curtiss P-40 or maybe even the P-15 Mustang. P-47 came much later and, therefore, would be a more superior plane.

I say that in as a lot as i have had a good number of conversations with individuals and in no way once have they or I been puzzled. particular there are some ameliorations in spellings and pronunciation. a number of the words we use have diverse meanings, yet so what? maximum of those are instantly ahead understanding so this is not a topic. one component i am going to communicate about inspite of the indisputable fact that, Ther human being who suggested that The English have tonnes and u.s. has lots has been deceptive with that. In England we use both tonnes and lots as they're diverse measurements of weight a million Tonne = 1000kg it truly is metric a million Ton = 2240 lb it truly is imperial
