How can your nose be so stuffed that you can't even blow it but it drips when you stand up?

Because the sinus passages are swollen almost shut and when you blow, the pressure closes them completely down, so that you can't get anything through them.
But like water, the liquid mucus can get through even the smallest crack, so it will drain no matter how congested your nose is.

Most of the time your sinuses are swollen closed that feels like they are stuffed up with mucus.

I'ver run into that from bronchitis or severe reactions to dust. Steam is the only thing I've found that could ease that.
