Wedding planners are a great idea if you are intimidated by the wedding planning process. They will not bleed your budget (contrary to popular belief) and will actually get you some great deals that you probably wouldn't be able to get by yourself. The cost of a planner is built into the budget, so you're best bet would be to set up some appointments and interview a few.

I am a Certified Wedding Specialist (yes, they actually have certifications) and, if you'd like, I can recommend a few planners based on the area in which you live...feel free to email me at jackie@eleganzaintima.com

Well, the word reasonable is in the eyes of the beholder...but I'm sure you can find a planner to suit your budget. Just be careful because you get what you pay for. Here is an article on what makes a good wedding planner:

Planning a wedding is easy if your organized. You dont need a wedding planner. They will only bleed your bank account. (I'm a party planner) I try to upgrade everything and can sell pretty much every couple to do so.

Save your money, you can do this yourself. If your on a budget then your the only one going to lookout for you dreams. Go with your heart. I did my own and you can too! Good Luck!

Most wedding planners will charge you 10% of your total wedding cost. So, if you want a $10,000 wedding, expect to pay and additional $1000 for a wedding planner.

Where do you live, as I am looking at getting in to it and willing to do it no charge to get some kind of experience.
