I have done this. The cost is different depending on your hair type. I have natural straight hair, but I put a perm in it and then I didn't like it.I went and I got the chemically straightening done for a meer twenty five dollars. But to everyone I don't recommend it. It actually lasted about 3 days and then all my frizzy hair came back.I don't think it was worth the money at all.

I for once would not recomment this treatment unless you have about 5-6 hours to do so...
My best friend tryed this about a year ago, it lasted for 6 months and it was just a hassle having to retouch it all the time as natural your hair grows out so it's not PERMANANT!
I suggest you go to your nearest salon and make sure your hair would be able to support all those chemicals they use....
Good Luck!

I've done that but I've also done it at home. All you do is buy a home perm and do the steps but instead of putting in curlers you comb your hair straight. Believe me it work wonders. Just be sure to use extra conditioner for about a week to two after wards (whether you do it at home or a salon) and you won't get frizzies.â¥

well they call that a perm when u permanently straighten or curl your hair. my cousin got her hair permed curly and the salon said it would last 3 months, but it actually lasted for about the whole year. when they perm it straight, they will straighten your hair then put your head under those heater things. same with curly perms, they'll put your hair in curlers then put you under the heater thing for about 45 minutes. I recommend it to you. its a cool thing to do.

a perm can last 2 months or maybe 1,and it cost about $55,45,35.All it does is make your hair more straighter if you have nappy or rough hair.--and if you dont take good care of it your hair can fall out!!
