You could be anemic, and your diet has something to do with this. are you getting enough protein? I had a place down the back of my hair, that was getting so thin you could see my scalp through my hair. I went to the doctor and he started me on iron injections (you might be able to handle iron pills) and I started eating sardines three times a week, and eggs, just a good healthy diet. Also some medications can cause your hair to thin.
Now my hair did not suddenly grow back, took about a year. But the thin spot is gone. Worth a trip to the doctor, to check.

Check with the doctor to make sure you haven't got an iron defiency or an underactive thyroid. Both can cause hair loss. So can stress.
Make sure you have a good diet. Maybe if you can afford it, you could try that treatment Cheryl Baker advertises called Nourkrin, from chemists. Maybe you could be referred to a hair specialist. I have had this problem ( it was brought on by stress and an underactive thyroid.) and I know it's hard but try not to be stressed.Good luck.

Get your thyroid checked. Mine used to be thick too, but it's now rather thin on top and in front. I have to take a thyroid replacement pill every day for the rest of my life. When regulated properly, you will stop loosing your hair, but it will never grow back. I've heard that the gene that controls low thyroid is passed on from mother to daughter, so any sisters you may have might also want to get it checked, as well as your mom.

Consider consulting endocrinologist and dermatologist. You can try some local therapy but the effects are for sure better if your doctor detects the cause why your hair is getting thinner (hormonal disbalance maybe...?)

Go to any pharmecy store, and ask them for their best Hair Product that will keep your hair growing instead of falling. Otherwize i just suggest No hair spray, because it has chemicals in it. Some healthy Shampoo, and your good to go, but if it keeps falling out go see someone.
