Hmm.....
I wouldn't be too hasty claiming the heritage of this country is part of God's plan to make this the "Holy Land". The USA was behind most other "western" countries in terms of fixing these problems here at home, so I'd be careful calling this a "Christian Nation." If you want to do that, you have to take the Christian blame for those human rights violations in our past as well.

For one thing U.S.A is not the promise land Israel is.and God is not leaving I mean he's in Iraq right now. the problem is Media is telling every one that you don't need God.
