My lcd projector is going crazy?
i have my projector for 2 months now. its a 3m mp8725 lcd projector.. its was good using it during the first month. but it act a little crazy.. like the picture flicker and sometime freezes.. i have a RGB, S-Video and Composite input and i always use the composite one for DvD's and Video Games i used my projector 4hrs everyday.. with only 426 lamp hours used.. so what do you think would the problem be? it plays sound when i press the main menu it looks fine.. just when watching movies and videos games.. that causes the image freeze and flickering.. pls help if you want see what im talking about just email me and i'll send you a picture what it looks like.. tahnk you for your help.

I use to write repair manuals for a projector company.

First, try to connect one of your devices through s-video, component or VGA and see if you notice any flickering. This will rule out whether it is the controllerboard. Composite is the worst connector that you can use, so it is always best to try a higher quality video connector.

Since you have only owned it for 2 months, it should be still under warranty. Call 3M's tech support or go to their web site and see if there are any firmware updates.

It sounds to be a memory buffer issue, which means the controllerboard would need to be replaced.

NO. the fee of adjusting the lamp in this projector might want to fee you more suitable than what they projector fee. do not ignore that projectors are really strong in very darkish room. in addition they don't help any audio. wish this may help you out.
