vodka and tonic - VO vodka has no carbs, neither does diet tonic water. Add a little lime, it's delicious. Champagne is supposed to be good for dieters too.

Mixing Vodka(even flavored like smirnoff vanilla) with a diet soda is low calorie. Red wine in small quantities is not neceisarily low calorie, but better for your health. regardless, if you drink to get drunk, they it is not good for the diet, but if you just want to "sip" and be social, either of those are fine.
there are low carb, but not carb free beers (michelob ultra).

There are many low carb beers, like michelob(sp?) ultra, but I think they stopped making the low carb beer aspen.

Well..I learn from the doctor. The doctor told everyone to can have a one cup of wine to help the blood to be thin in the body. I guess you can drink the alcoholic for just one cup.

I stupidly thought until recently that there weren't any calories in spirits!
In fact, it turns out there's lots.
Lite beer is your best bet

Sounds boring, but a white wine spritzer is lo-cal since it is cut with the seltzer.

I would stick to tonic water and lemon juice or tomatoe juice with ice.
