Kefir is a delicious fermented milk beverage that you can easily make at home. More healthful than yogurt, kefir builds immunity and imparts a sense of well being.
All kinds of milk can be kefired -- even nondairy 'milks'. This includes milk from any animal (goat, cow, sheep, etc), bean (soy, pinto kidney, garbanzo, ...), grain (rice, barley, ...), nut (almond, brazil, coconut, ...), or seed (flax, pumpkin, sesame, ...).
