I'll take La Starza based on one thing and one thing only. Quarry's propensity to cut. La Starza by TKO round 9.

LA STARZA - W 57 (KO's27) TF 66 - W pct 86% - KO pct 41% - wins over Layne - KO'ed by Rocco

Good bout between what appears to be 2 evenly matched fighters on paper. Good Italian boy vs Good Irish boy - The difference in this bout is the quality of opposition. Quarry is a much better fighter. As long as Jerry is not cut, he wins a tough but unanimous 15 round decision.

between Mark W and Maurice, they distinctly lots coated it. i think Jerry Quarry could have had some tough moments early, yet at last he could have taken Morrison out into the deep water and Tommy could have drowned. i think of Quarry could have KOed Morrison, very corresponding to he did Shavers. In a slug fest, Morrison's chin could betray him and Quarry could KO Tommy. If it went the gap Tommy could do somewhat better, it may be close, yet I nonetheless say Quarry had sufficient to tug out an intensive determination.
