is it normal for a 13 year old girl to have a stomach that bulges over her pants or should i loose some weight? or loose some belly fat?

Like someone else said, its normal for teenagers to have some 'puppy fat'. Since you are only 13 I would strongly recommend against going on some crazy diet as you are still growing and dont want to mess your growth up. If the belly fat bothers you its best to do some simple cardio exercises like going running, cycling, swimming etc. Unless you are morbidly obese, dont let your body image get to you too much! Just eat right, exercise, and stay healthy!

Don't worry about it sweetie it's ok to have a lil extra around the middle but if it bothers you try to be more active would not recommend dieting for a girl your age more than likely you will have a growth spurt soon and that bulge will go away but remember go easy on the sweets and try to drink more water than soda even diet soda is bad for your teeth

Maybe it is your pants that aren't the right size. Girls at 13 grow out of things very quickly. And it never hurts to do some kind of exercise. Walking with a group of friends is one, roller skating, and playing ball are great too

You need to lose that belly fat that is not normal!!!
It's the belly not the weight!! try going to a fitness club for young girls!! like the other guy said swim,run,play around alot so you burn fat!!!!!

At 13, some folks refer to the slight pudginess some girls have as "baby fat," but it would be better to start doing some exercise to strengthen the abdominal muscles.

well, these days it is normal, if you are talking abouta little bitty bulge that comes about when you are sitting down then dont worry your alright, if it is a bigger belly sticking over you may need to buy a bigger waisted jean, if your comfortable dont worry about what's normal

if you wear pants that don't fit, I would think your tummy would bulge over, whether you were overweight or not.

No, it's not normal to have excessive fat on your body. Cut back on fast food and candy. Don't eat meat with bread or cheese.

i think everyone has that problem, even super skinny people, and celebrities. If you want to lose your bulging stomach i suggest you have a proper diet; drink plentiful of water!
