I'm sure you CAN but do you want to? You will be charged a huge amount of import tax and pcs are readily available here.
If you insist on bringing it, it will have to go in the hold. Will it survive the journey?
If it were a laptop, I would say, "Do it." but pc? No. Copy all important files/software and replace, either with a laptop in the uk or with a pc here. Think about which keyboard you prefer. Maybe you want something uk based, in that case, bring the keyboard alone in hand luggage.
good luck

Oviously like someone else said you will need an adapter for the plug but apart from that I think that will be it, if ya have a wireless compatible computer, no matter what country you in it will pick up networks and the only other thing you might wanna do is change the language setting so its in Turkish.
And also check with the airline to see how to transport it, I think a hand luggage idea might be out of the question :-)
Thats all i can think of tho

If you can afford a PC here in Turkey, get a memory stick and download your files. If you are a Turkish citizen, you will have to pay a whopping tax on bringing the PC (unless the regs have changed again). Contact the airline you are using for details.

Yes of course you can take it with you, If the customs do get funny you can say you have had it for many years. They cant prove you have just brought it. Instead of getting a new plug you could perhaps get a 2 pin adapter to use in the wall.
If you want to avoid paying import duty you could always brake the computer up into parts "IE" Keyboard, Monitor and Computer itself and send them each as separate packages with a courier company to your address in Turkey. You could make out there a gift etc etc.

Fidget is right. If u r Turkish citizen u will have to pay 50-60% of the invoice(£400) + do not forget the extra freight and the customs clearance fees.
And did u keep the invoice? Turkish customs will ask you.
Good luck...

Yes, but make sure you know what kind of electric outlet they have so you can get the correct adaptor. I've taken my PC to both Hungary and Austria for conferences. I have a world wide adaptor that you can change for wherever you are. Not expensive - cost me about $25.

I'm not from Turkiye so I can not say what the custom say, however, if you bring it as a hand luggage(if a laptop) or in the checked in luggage, I don't see any reason for the customs control to check you luggage! When it comes to the adapter, I'm not sure that you would need one. When I visited Istanbul last year I was able to use my charger for my mobile phone!
