Yes, a PA can write a precription for almost all drugs (I believe there are some narcotics they cannot write for, but otherwise they have all the same prescription priveleges as an MD)

Yes, I believe they can. The physician has the final say as to if the drug is out of the ordinary for the condition, but the answer to your question is Yes, they do.

I'm a nurse. Yes they have but shouldn't. In most cases a colleague does it for them, that the norm.
