I have really blonde hair, that is a beach blonde underneath and right now it is pretty long - about an inch and a half to 2 inches below my shoulder. I want to look older and more sophisticated, but I don't know what type of cut I should get...I am only 16, but dont really look like it..I look younger. Now...here are the dilemas. My hair is EXTREMELY thin. Also I have a big widows peak (I would like to have side bangs, but the widows peak makes it hard not to look like my hair is thinning.)

lots of layers will make your hair look thicker, take it up to a bob a la brittney spears (I don't like her, but I like her hair) to hide the widows peak, have your part to the side.

If you really hate your widows peak, depending on how dramatic it is you can get rid of it. Alot of salons will do you for you but you can always do it your self. Part your hair behind the widows peak to make a straight hair line, then trim what is in front (the actual peak) and then wax if off.

My mother has an awful widows peak and she does this regularly. THEN you can have whatever bangs you want.

As far as the cut, I was going to suggest a layered cut right above your shoulder with some long layers, some very long side bangs and then possibly add some lowlights to break up the color and blend the blonde a bit, plus to show off the layers.

Goodluck!

I believe that you should have a bang that hangs to the side (its the new style). With the length of your hair i think u shoud cut it about shoulder length and flip it outwards at the bottom. Maybe get some different colored highlights too. With the thinness i would maybe put a little layer in so it looks fuller..

You could go for a shoulder length bob with layers all through it to add to the volume. I got a chin lenghthed one done today, but if you're not ready to go too short then medium should be fine. Try dying your hair more of a golden blonde like Jennifer Aniston, it may look nicer... Good Luck! :)

Btw, i'm 16 too...nice to know there people my age round here! :)

You should like take a shower and then when you get out put moose in it and then dry your hair with a hair dryer. That is what I do and my hair is really thin and really works good.

Your best bet is to ask your stylist. Here are some things on widows peaks:
