chi straighteners, although a little pricey, are amazing. they heat up quick and don't burn your hair as bad because they are ceramic. i live in ocala and have very curly hair...my chi is the only iron that keeps my hair straight in the humidity!

Remington ones are great and apparently GHD'S are great too. Always get ones with ceramic plates and preferably some that are covered with some Teflon, so it doesn't damage your hair as much... Hope This Helps! :)

Well I would prefer Global Beauty over Chi but they are both pretty expensive, so if you want one that does a really, really, really good job and is really, really, really inexpensive but really, really, really hard to find than I would go with one called "Ion Straight"

you want a ceramic straightener my hair was fried till i got one and they heat up quicker. you can find them everywhere i got mine real cheap at target .my mom got hers at sally Solon my best friend at Walmart. and my fashion freak perfect aunt got hers at target i was surprised she bought it there instead of buying a 200$ straightener like she normally does.hers mine and my best friends are Hairart brand they are kinda hard to find even they are thin and black but i would go to a sally solon u are better off looking for i in there and it only cost about 50$ not 200$
