Do you think eating a homemade vegemite sandwich for breakfast and lunch is a good idea for saving money during the day? Any comments on the dietary issues of doing this?

Well contrary to what all the Americans will tell you Vegemite is really good for you. Its high in vitamin b, folate and iron.
If you're worried about your salt intake though, I'd skip the vegie on toast for brecky, and just go with it on your sandwich for lunch.
And remember, "it puts the rose in every cheek!"

Vegemite has a high concentration of folate (derived from yeast) which, in large doses, can be detrimental to your health. This is why it is illegal to import it into the United States.

Folate is an important nutrient but high doses can be more harmful than helpful.

Not good at all. Where's the fresh fruit and veg? Apart from anything else, the amount of salt will probably induce a heart attack within a couple of days!
