Heaven doen't exist yet. Christ will create it when He comes again.

Heaven and earth are places in between which is a vast distance. Thus what must one do to connect two places? You can connect through a road, or a line of communication. There exists pathways between heaven and earth by which angels traverse. (See Gen 28:12-13 as well as John 1:51). God does not allow human travel in these passages except at death or resurrection or a sovereign act by which he takes us to heaven to be a witness of it's glory. (2 Cor 12:2-4 and Rev. 4:1-2)
The other way of connection is by communication. God has made a line of communication through our words and prayers by which we may access heaven and bring it's power into our world. (See John 15:7 and John 16:24)

Well every faith/religion/belief person has different views about that statement, like you said, you were reading mystics books, if you read another book on a different genre, they would say a different thing. In the end , it all comes down to what you believe.
So just live and enjoy life rather than trying to find it's meaning while your life goes by!
Then again i am a 17 year old so thats what i say!

Yes and No. some things affect the spirit realm exclusively and some things affect just the Earth realm. For example, the Earth realm is being covered with darkness, but the spirit realm is not, however if things keep going the way they are going there will be a rip in the spirit realm pouring over the Earth realm.

A connection that can't be proven is not a connection. Religions biggest problem is providing proof. They always come up empty handed.

I believe that the Bible states this. What we bind on earth is bound in Heaven... so I see this connection.
