I think you can feel good about the work God is doing in you, but you're right, it's a slippery slope that leads to pride. (I've often fallen into it myself). As soon as you start thinking-"wow, I'm really on track"-that's pride.

heres is the simple truth - There is no such thing as sin. There is such a thing as ethics. Follow some good ethical / moral behavior and then useing that as a guideline do whatever you want. the idea of SIN and punishment is a form of soical control that is build to do just that control. Religeon should not take the precedence over Law - do whats legall to have fun. and take a piss on a church.

This is what christianity has ingrained in you, to make you think you are being bad for enjoying yourself. It's a control mechanism. You are not sinning, simply doing what it is in your nature to do...try to feel good. It's a natural bodily reflex and is nothing you should feel you are sinning over.

That's easy; the christian sins do not apply to me. The only way I would feel guilty about something is if I treated someone unfairly, if I hurt someone or an animal, or if I were to end someone's life unless they deserved it. I also don't promote women cheating on their husbands.
Other than that, I'll do anything within legal reach of my fullfillment of desire.

Why shouldn't you feel good about yourself? The purpose of Christianity isn't to feel miserable. Jesus said he came so that we could have the fullness of joy, John 5:11.

some religions i've heard of do not want you to :have fun" and dont want you to play games or cards or anything which will be fun activities,but i believe as long as you are not discrasing the name of god( because we are his temple) i say do it, have fun. if it is something you feel is wrong your heart will condemn you and your conciese willlet you no, and you will feel guilty. just keep in mind as a servant of christ you have to know the cost, you cant run around with nonbelievers who are out to do evil, yes you can be friends with a sinner but influence them dont let them influence you, keep it moral and clean and have some fun, if you mess up come clean before god and ask forgiveness, hope this helped

truly repent, confess ur sins, be baptized, and God will forgive you from ur sins and then u dont have to feel like u are sinning because u will have no sin. unless u sin again. then u need to be penitent in ur heart and ask God to forgive u and He will. : )

By worshipping God and praying so that He will forgive u. after u ask Him 2 forgive ur sins they will instantly b forgotten by u and God.

by realizing that more than half of what your preacher says are sins aren't. its just his way of controlling his congregation.
