Your life needs faith, hope and love, the three elements that make life fantastic and worth-living.
In the Beginning God created heavens and earth.
God gives you air to breathe and sunshine to enjoy.
God gives you water to drink and food to eat.
God gives you a wonderful body and sound mind, to live.
God loves you, and you are precious to Him.
Son of God died on the Cross to save us from condemnation.
Jesus’ love is boundless and everlasting.
We have the hope of Heaven through Jesus.
Life therefore has fantastic and glorious future!

If you constantly feel sad all the time and nothing seems to make you happy, then you may be depressed. The first is thing is talk to your doctor and see if he can give you some referrals to seek some counseling. If you don't have a doctor, then see what your community had to offer for counseling services. Depression is a major illness and if you feel you have it, you need to get treated. There is never a guarantee counseling may help and there are up a down days, but trying to contol your depression and allowing others to help you, will help. There should also be mental health agencies in the area you live in or near by. This link below, is actually a mental health agency in Texas, but it might be able to give you an idea on what these agencies have to offer

Depression is more than just feeling sad. If you are feeling hopeless, sad, tired,or like nothing matters, and you have trouble caring. for more than 2 weeks, then you are probably depressed, You can go to your doctor or a psychiatrist to get medication that will help.

If it's part of the usual ups and downs of life, then you're perfectly normal, but if it lasts for more than a week or so, I would say you should see a psychologist to see if he/she can help you reason your way through whatever is causing you to be sad. He or she can also determine if you should see a psychiatrist for medication.

There is a major difference between being sad and being depressed. Take these tests and see what the results say - but remember that they can't give you a definite diagnosis. If you're still worried, see a doctor.
