Most Christians will never admit the possiblity that they are wrong. Have you ever considered that you guessed incorrectly? Faith is based on trusting something without having proof. Isn't that the same as guessing your right? So why don't you ever accept the possiblity that you more likely are wrong, than right?

because it's hard for most people who are highly-opinionated (not necessarily Christians) to admit that they can be wrong.

We don't accept the fact that we might be wrong for the same reason you don't accept the fact that you may be wrong... Because, that's where our faith is.

Contrary to what you and many others think, you cannot have faith without proof, else, there would be nothing to put your faith in, and just because others don't accept our proof, doesn't negate the fact that it exists.

You are also using your faith when you say you only believe in what can be "proven", or science. First of all, you're believing something, not because you've actually studied it, but because you've read it somewhere, or someone has told you about it. You're believing; 1)That they did the research they claim they did, and 2)That they, and their research, are trustworthy.

It also takes faith to believe the story that they ultimately come up with. Science does nothing more than ask a question and investigate the answer. Once you feel that you've investigated enough, you come up with a conclusion. That conclusion is where science stops and faith, or conjecture begins. I say conjecture because once you realize that there is another avenue of investigation that you didn't account for, you must go back and change your conclusion based on your new findings. Science does this all of the time (that is why Pluto is no longer considered a planet), but the so called "science people" never stop to realize what this means. Science is NOT something to put your faith in. It is only a tool used to answer questions that help you develop or direct your faith, which is what gives your interpretation of how those answers are connected.

I do have proof, I have had a divine spiritual experience. There is no doubt what so ever that God does exist.....but the real question is can you accept the fact the you might be wrong ?

Believe me, you will find out soon enough that there is a God, and what a shock you have coming.

Have you ever read the Bible, especially Bible Prophecy. It foretells of history thousands of years before it happened. Everything that was foretold has happened, right down to a tee.

If you go to
www.bibleuniverse.com
you can take a Bible Prophecy course. Its neat, you can watch a video and answer the questions on line. They read strictly from the Bible. And afterwards they send a really neat diploma for framing..After you take the course then get in touch with of me & lets talk. I'm interested to see what you think after you take this fun and imformative course.

Much respect and have a wonderful New Year !

Christians do consider that, but we do not entertain the notion. We know with extremly solid proof that God is alive and is the one and only. I will give some examples.

1) People say that science is the only explaniation for everything. It has been proven that science only backs up what God has done. When a group of solid christians get together and pray for a sick person that is going to die and they live.....who does that....Buddha. Nope, only the power of God THROUGH science.

2) In the bible the prophet Elijah disproved the falso god, Baal. People confronted him by saying that when an alter was built Baal would make fire rain from heaven and burn their offerings. The followers of Baal prayed for some time and nothing happened. Elijah then did the same thing but prayed to Jehoviah. When he did this fire rained from heaven and comsumed the offering on the alter and the water that was placed around the alter to control the awaited fire.

Well... I have proof for my faith. There's lots of eye witnesses of supernatural happens. I've seen some myself. Like one time a guy's legs were freeze-burned by liquid CO2. He couldn't walk. They took him to the hospital and the doctors did what they had to do and told him he wouldn't be able to walk for a few months. Well the next day, the congregation I was in at the time had him come up front to be prayed for. The guy just stood up and took off his bandages and he didn't have a scar or mark on him.
Other than supernatural things like that, the facts of science disprove evolution and highly support creation. Just check out http://www.drdino.com/ or watch some of Kent Hovind's videos on google. And by highly supporting creation they highly support the Bible which implys that the Bible is truth.
Also I have never seen another book like the Bible. It was written by over 40 authors, on 3 continents, and in a 1500 year span. Yet the thing doesn't contradict itself anywhere and all has the same God and religion. And by religion I mean beliefs. There's even more but I think I've said my piece.

Most Christians can't face the possibility that they might be wrong. They have followed "the rules" and so that means that they are going to heaven. They can't accept that because they are brought up in a culture that says that the world is going to persecute them and that they will have to withstand trials and tribulations and so they become more and more stuck in what they "believe". Don't get angry with them. Its just the culture and belief system. It's hard for them to change it.

I'm sorry, but your assumptions are incorrect, at least as far as me and my life are concerned. I have not "guessed" at anything. Faith comes before seeing, but that doesn't mean you don't see. I have faith, and I see. I don't "guess" that I am right. At one time, I was as far from God as a person could get..my insides looked kind of like your avatar. :-) I was on the path to death, I have no doubt about that now. The fact that I am alive, saved, working for God and loving Him is a divine miracle. If you had SEEN where I was..and where I am now..if you could SEE the change in me, my heart, my LIFE, I think you would falter as to what you are currently believeing. Maybe not, but the point is that I have SEEN what God has done for me, my life, my family, people in my church, etc. I see it all the time. It has nothing to do with guessing. I have living, daily PROOF of His existance.( me for one) This is availiable to everyone. God is no respector of person. If He could WANT someone like the person I used to be to be saved, He wants everyone to be saved! And He loves me just as much as the next person. Peace

I consider that all the time.

I think of myself as an agnostic atheist, because there's simply no way to prove the existence of any god. That said, if pressed for a 'yes' or 'no' answer to the question of the existence of any god, I'd have to say 'no'.

I'm absolutely willing to admit that I might be wrong, because it's about knowledge for me, not faith.

Some Christians do say they might be wrong. This leads to the worst argument of them all: "i believe just in case" I think most realize they might be wrong. Most people are not religious fanatics.

Why do you people get so upset about something we believe in. Because you dont have that much trust in anything. We do , We KNOW our GOD we have a personal relationship with him. Why does it upset you that we want morals and decency in our lives, We dont want our kids to grow up to be with someone of the same sex or to murder their babies while still in their bellies, whats so wrong with that.

There are different types of "christians". The possibility that I could be wrong was that lead me to search for the truth, and finally, to BECOME A CHRISTIAN.
