Sometimes little kids will have a hard time adjusting to the fact that her mom isn't really her real mom. The best thing to do is to sit her down and tell her how much you guys love her and that you are her family. As for her real mother, I don't advise you on saying that her real mom didn't want her. It will break her heart. Not to mention make her feel unloved. You could say things like her mom couldn't take care of her instead of saying didn't want her anymore. Whatever you do say, make sure that she understands that you guys love her and that you guys are her real family no matter what.

Thats's a really hard topic. Whatever her adoptive parents want to say should be okay, but remember someday she'll want to know the truth. So just tell her part of the story and leave the heavy stuff out for later.

One of my children is adopted.
If you just say, "Sometimes when a woman has a baby she isn't able to take care of it right, so she has to ask another lady to be its mother" that usually works.
If she asks for more details then her mother should tell her, "We'll need to talk about all the information I have about your biological mother when you're a little older. I may try to get more information for you as well."
If she asks other people the answer should be, "Ask Mommy."

Depends on the age, but she Needs The truth! She needs to know the truth....Her mom couldn't take care of her emotionally, physically or financially anymore.

The best answer to that question would be to say "We don't know why your real mother was not able to take care of you, but we are very happy that she chose to leave you with us."

You should tell her the "age appropriate" truth!
It's her life, and the longer you put it off the harder she's giong to take it.
