It's a sneaky way to introduce "Pascal's Wager" into the conversation. "When I die, I will face [insert deity here] knowing I made the right decision, knowing I believed the right way. If I didn't and there's no [insert deity here], who cares? But if [insert deity here] DOES exist and you face him when you die, you're SCREWED, man! So... what'll you say, huh? You'll feel like a boob, wontcha? WONTCHA?"

They don't consider the fact that maybe we're BOTH wrong. Instead of "either [insert deity here] exists or there are no deities", perhaps it's "either [insert deity here] exists or [insert ANY NUMBER of the 100's of deities here] exists".

Maybe Christians should think about what they're going to do when they see Quetzalcoatl after they die. Oops. They bet on the wrong deity. They lose. Go directly to jail. Do not collect salvation.

A person who knows anything about the creator and has a good heart wouldn't want anyone to see God,because they know that one wouldn't be able to live after. Some of his creation alone is too much for the eyes to see,so can you imagine seeing such an almighty one.The tops of the mountains is proven too much for man if not properly attired.

Since this God doesn't exist in the real world it is a pointless question!!

This God only exists in the delusional minds of those who do not think for themself but rather blindly follow the ideas of others!

I think so....If I am alive to see the coming of the Lord, I would like to see the looks on their faces when they realize that what we were saying all along was true. That God is the one and the only.

It would be like Oblivious, or like Candid Camera. Shows like that. Just the end result would ring deeper.

I just love how they refuse to consider the idea of what they would have to do if "Judgement Day" comes and it turns out some OTHER religion was correct... but they insist that we take THEIR proposition seriously.

Yeah, they are convinced I'm going to turn to God if something terrible happens to me. I think not.

Because gloom-and-doom Christians want to bask in the glow of their being right, and watch non-believers burn in hell for all eternity.

That's the loving, tolerant Christian way.
