i would take him on a romantic weekend getaway! but not too girly (some guys get turned off), maybe a cabin in the mountains or a b & b. I'm a sucker for fireplaces too LOL

I have done several things. One cooked my hubby's favorite meal and grabbed all of his comfy clothes and rented a house boat.. arranged a baby sitter .. told the hubby we are going out to dinner.. and then took him to the house boat for the night .Was a nice surprise..
Did simular thing but rented a room where he did some work on it and always talked about how nice it was. so, had dinner set on the balcony and his favorite beer in the tub .. and swim trunks. When the restaurant wasn't opened yet.. we had to walk around the hotel and while he was looking out.. I opened the door. he couldn't believe it.. all can be arranged the day before.. even had our wedding bottle there with our glasses.. & of course hot tub present to really relax.

take him on a trip somewhere speical, just the two of you :)
somewhere not too expensive for a weekend. I don't know where your from but the poconos are nice and you can always get cheap flights and hotel reservations in cancun (i wouldnt go during spring break though) there are other places in mexico that are nice. I hear maine is pretty. Florida's nice too :) The bahamas aren't alot especially on off seasons like now.

adult adult males are not truly into significant presents, get him something that he needs. Like if he likes Jordan get him Jordans or if he likes video games get him a funky game like guitar hero. the hot iphone is popping out and is only gonna be $199 oh yeah how bout an itouch or Zune.
