If God knew that the devil would attempt to tempt Adam and Eve then was God powerless to stop the devil?
If God could have stopped the devil and he didn't, then isn't God in effect partially guilty of tempting us?
When I get to heaven I am going to sue God.

If God is all knowing then wouldn't he know what choices we would make? Then wouldn't not need to test us?
You can't have Both GOD knows everything including what we will decide AND free will and needing to test what our free will will be... DOH!

How do you know that I am not going to heaven?
Maybe God is cracking up at the absurdity of being sued and will let me in to Heaven just to prove that he has a sense of humor.
He spends enough time playing SOUL Chess with the Devil trying to prove he is smarter than the Devil... ha!

God doesn't need to prove anything because God in a religious sense does NOT exist.
I believe in the possibility of a God.
All religions are low tech mind control software. Stories and fables designed to paint pictures and associations of pain or pleasure to various things they want you to do or not do.
Mind software for mass population control of humans.

Humans try to understand how God can be omnisient and omnipotent. They do not allow for the possibility that he can place a prohibition on 2 humans then CHOOSE to NOT know the outcome in just this particular case. He is that powerful. I do not think it is beyond his ability to do this.
There is one simple Bibical principle which can help. 1John 4:8 God is Love. A loving God and creator does not CAUSE suffering. James 1:12-15 explains how desire, (not God) caused problems first for Satan and then for Eve, then Adam.
Actually things could have worked out quite differently if there were other humans on earth who refused to eat the fruit....but there weren't.
Aren't we glad the creator immediatly purposed a Kingdom which would one day reverse alll the damage and suffering. One day soon!

Yep,but unfortunately God is just a man-made issue that´s why it´s so, as everything created by men god has its flaws as well, the bible says that we can´t :doubt, think. all we have to do is to follow its instructions the way it was wrotten . so i jumped into the conclusion that The Holy Bible and God as well is just a sort of social control instrument created by the men to control other people specially the poor ones.
Just take a look around you and pay attention to every single person, look for this person´s facts and then you´ll realize that who´s reach enough not to need God´s help.just go fine and the most poor or naive people ,surround themselves on the religious and God issues.

God has the power to stop the devil. However, think about the phrase 'free will'. That allows us to follow God or Satan. Eve was tempted, and she listened to the serpent instead of God.
To answer you 2nd question, God is NOT in effect partially guilty of tempting us, because for one, He won't force us to follow Him. It's our own fault if we choose the devil or be tempted.
Oh yes, and that last statement wasn't very necessary.
May the love of Christ be with you and your family.

God did no longer tempt Adam and Eve. He basically gave them the instructions for the Tree... "do no longer consume of it somewhat is fruit." It grew to become into devil, the serpent, who tempted them through telling them they could DEFY God's command. sure, God knew He could desire to deliver a Savior in the previous the "Fall" occurred. yet He additionally knew that this had to happen for Mankind to truly be created in God's image, with loose WILL, with selection. If God had no longer given Adam and Eve the "genuine" to choose for, then He does no longer have created them with that complete genuine, as God has. it somewhat is the reason God grew to become into even "waiting" together with his plan of Salvation in the previous the introduction of the international. Such is the completeness of God's omniscience! MARANATHA! Come, Lord Jesus, COME!

Don't you get it this God not only knew that the devil figure would do that. He also must have known the figure of Lucifer would be exactly as he turned out to be and would do everything that he did. Which means this God created him to be the figure of evil that he is!
After all everything that occurs this God knew it would occur. Otherwise he wouldn't be all knowing! All of the evil must be part of this God's plans! You want proof of this?

God knew that was going to happen but God does not work on foreknowledge. If you believe God works on a foreknowledge you believe that He works on predestination and that you canjudge people. He cannot work on a foreknowledge because it would be against His character. God knows whether or not you and I will be saved but He can't just say well that sinner is lost no hope for him. NO. God waits for the sinner for He is longsuffering and if He is willing that his ways change God will work on his heart.

God gave Adam and Eve brains to make a choice and they did! And No, God is not guilty! As for the rest of us, we are supposed to use our God given brains and do the right thing! If we goof, it is our fault, not Gods!

Yes God knew, and God had a backup plan.
The seed of the woman (Jesus) would crush the serpents head with His foot. That is what Jesus did when He raised from the dead. So we can raise up with Him victorious over the death curse.
The Lamb of God was planned at the foundation of creation (Revelation) as a way out of the death sentence.
