That is not weird at all not all fire is that hot. In fact the base of a flame from a candle is quite cool and some chemicals burn cool. We are just normally used to wood fire.

Uhmmm, that's normal.
The flame does not burn instantly. It heats up your skin first, and the pain comes only when you are being overheated.
It's like putting a saucepan on a hot stoveplate for five minutes as opposed to putting it on the plate for an hour.
The heat needs time to transfer. Sometimes the time is very short, and you hardly notice it.

No, but if you keep playing with fire you will eventually get burned and why would I want to put my hand in the fire?

Well if your just running your hand through the flame I think your going to live and anyone can do that, but if your letting your hand sit in there then you might have some kind of condition where you can't feel pain and that sometimes can get serious

no it's not odd. i can do it too. in the middle of the flame it's the temp there that keeps you from burning provided that you don't leave your hand in there too long.

NO, I CAN ACTUALLY FEEL PAIN. I wouldn't keep doing that if I were you. Do you feel pain at all?
