rocky balboa currently has 56 milliona t box office is that good?
i mean it a sequel people thought it was gonan eb like basic instict 2 getting only 5 mil now rocky si a huge it what do you guys think? why did it do so good?

The buzz around the movie has been going on for years (mostly jokes). Then the first trailer came out and it went from joking to curiosity. Then reviews come out saying that "It's not as bad as you think". Plus Stallone has put some much time and effort into promoting this movie, but also getting it made. Sharon Stone didn't give a rats a$$ about BI2 all she wanted was the paycheck. So take the jokes, curiosity, the possibility of a good product, and the heart of Sly...that will give you an audience. I will be seeing it this Sunday and I can't wait.

Well, that's not really that huge - I mean the orginal made like $125 mill or more back in '76, so figure out for inflation and you see the difference.
It's respectable for a movie franchise that has been dead for like 20 years, especially when the main character is the story and the same actor is still trying to make it fly.
It cost about $25 million to make. You have to work hard to make a stinker like Basic Instinct 2. Sharon stone ought to buy a restaurant and give up the acting gig...

That's more than double what it cost to make and more than Rocky 5 made so $56 mil is not bad.

rocky was a great movie, and this one sounds like it's mining the same feel as the original. if that's the case it'll make for a great sequel...rock 2-5 became more and more cartoonish(what freak can we put in there against rocky?). i can't wait to see it, myself and hoep it gets to my part of the world soon. this movie is not a blockbuster, it'sa character piece like the original and it's been out barely a month in many markets, i believe. give sly credit...he reportedly rose to the challenge and he so deserves the accolades this movie is garnering, after so many clunkers!

Jake l. a. Motta could beat Rocky i think of. well known boxing action picture could might desire to be Rocky 4 and that i form of agree that Million greenback toddler is the final lady boxing action picture all even with the indisputable fact that I hate the top.

People need a good heavy weight fight to watch. They sure as heck aren't seeing any thing in that division right now.
