5 pounds a month is a realistic goal. You could even lose that in four months (losing up to 10 pounds a month)

It is very possible!! A healthy weight loss is 1-2 pounds per week (10 lbs. or so per month)... so you are capable of going BEYOND 35 pounds. I would say yes...hit the gym. Or you can run/jog/walk for free at your leisure. A good brisk walk 30 minutes per day will do wonders. Also... just watch what you eat... Also, don't starve yourself. Never go more than 3-4 hours without eating 'something'. Grab an apple, your favorite nutrigrain bar (or it's equal) and drink plenty of water.
You can go beyond what you think. Don't give up! Also, remember that muscle weighs more than fat so if you're working out you may gain weight, but at the same time it is possible to get smaller in some areas where the fat is burning off. I've seen men gain weight but get smaller.
Go for it! you can do it.

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.
I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.
It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.
Get started today!

I've lost 30 pounds in 4 months. "Healthy" weightloss is considered to be between 1-2 pounds per week, so that gives you 4-8 pounds a month. I am on weight watchers, it is the best diet for me. I do not work out or exercise one bit. My suggestion is to try it. If you don't want to go to meetings you can do it online or buy the materials from ebay. I tried many diets and this is the only one I can stick to because it encourages healthy eating mixed in with your favorite foods. I never had to completely give up anything, I just have to eat fattening foods in moderation.

It definitely is NOT a healthy way to lose weight. Even though it may seem like an effective way now, you are causing physical and mental damage to your body, damage that will become apparent in a few years time. Any l would recommend losing about 1.5-2 pounds a WEEK. Cut down on your portion sizes and eat more meals per day. Eat a balanced diet of healthy food. This way, you will not only lose weight naturally, you will feel much better. Your current way may seem like a good idea now, but in the long-run, it will back-fire, I promise you that.

Yes you can loose it in 7 months....most doctors sugest you should shoot for 2lbs a week...so 35lb in 7 months is do-able. I think you already know your problem....you have to work out more, 1 day a week will do little for you. You need to workout at least 3 days, and gradually increase you intensity. I would shoot for a 4 day a week workout if you're really serious. And I suggest you get a book on eating healthly, we ALL like to lie to ourself about how healthy our diet is. This doesn't mean you have to go on a fad diet, just cut down on fatty foods, and incease foods that are more filling but lower in calories, like Nuts (healthly fats in nuts) Protein (prepared the correct way, like grilled and baked chicken and lean beef.) Increase your water in take, and If you drink regular soda, switch to diet. And eventually limit the intake of even the diet, because the carbonation in soda interrupts digestion, so you tummy always looks puffy. Good luck!

highly possible. just a little bit of discipline...stay away from carbohydrate-rich food (potatoes, sweet, rice and pasta) and keep to a regular exercise routine (thrice a day, at a premium heart-rate for at least an hour). you'll be healthier and weigh less. :) good luck and stay off the medications. lose weight naturally!

I know that some Actors use a Lentil diet to lose a lot of weight quickly. You might want to take supplements with that, but it seems to work. If it worked for William Shatner before he made each Star Trek film, well it must be good

it's definitely possible! if you lose 2 pounds a week (which is the safest amount to lose weekly) you can lose more than 35 pounds in 7 months. good luck.
