Honestly..I really wouldn't date a co-worker...think of this..what if the two of you dint work out? It will effect both your jobs and that really isn't a pretty sight..Ive been in your shoes before..if the other person thinks your at fault for something EVERYBODY Will know about it in your office...they will try to get people to turn against you...Like i said Ive been there and I dont think you should too..!

My boyfriend works in the same building as me we don't work for the same company but we have to deal with a lot of the same people so I was some what worried about starting anything. From my own experience I recommend going on a date with him to see how it goes. Take it slow to this day me and my boyfriend will not hold hands at work and wont kiss. I am sure most people know we are together but to us it is easier to keep it on the down low. Not necessarily a secret because if someone asks we will be honest but we don't announce it.
Some other advice I personally think 3 months out of a long term relationship is very quick to start something new. I recommend dating but don't settle on your first date you need time to experience and not to jump into something. Good Luck!

Jackie,
Dating a co-worker isn't a good idea. There's a reason you are hesitant.
What happens if things don't work out? One of you may be very uncomfortable working there. Does your company have any "rules" about dating a co-worker?
You have to decide what is right for you.
I wish you the best!

If you are going to go out with him, make sure you know the company policy for co-workers dating. If there isn't one, then be very discreet. You have to realize that in the event of breaking up with the guy, you still have to see him everyday at work.

I am dating a co-worker. We work very closely together but we realise that the workplace is not a place for relationship stuff. We are not dating whilst in work even though we have stolen the odd kiss when no one is looking. ;)
Just go for it. Be careful though. People WILL talk.

Check company policy. Is this guy worth losing your job over? I married a former co-worker, but I had to quit my job to keep the relationship going.
You could keep it on the DL, but someone always finds out....
Good Luck!

How closely do you work with him? If it's on a daily basis, then absolutely not. If it's just somebody in the same office, that you don't see all the time and can avoid if something goes wrong, then it should be OK.

Been There, Done That! I personally wouldn't advise it. It rarely turns out a good situation.
