thanks everybody!!! i had never knew it was the name of a cigar. i just laughed so hard at my self!!!! after years of hearing this joke, i finally get it, kind of like it too.

you guys are going to think im such a jack a**>>> but im having so much fun with this question!!! that joke about the cars that start with p, cracked me and my kids up!! the one about alice in chains put me right back at the beggining for a second, but since you explained it was a call to the record store i figured it out :0) (i now know about alice in chains, thanks!!!) and i also just realized that i have quite a childish sense of humor. * blushing*

After that prank call, call up people and tell them you are doing a survey. Ask them if they can name three cars that start with "P".
Of course, all answers are wrong because as we all know, cars start with GAS, not PEE!

Well then you aren't Jewish, Muslim, Catholic or Christian if you believe that your god is an idol. Perhaps you are too young, haven't reached the age of reason, haven't reached 21 when your mind begins to open up and start to understand things. May I suggest you talk with a priest or minister and start into some religion courses or ask if you can attend the classes for baptism so you can get a good understand of what God and the church is all about. There you can get your questions answered by the high ups that are allowed to provide the correct answers. Asking here in YA will only make you more confused. You are in no position to make decisions yourself wit regard to religion and the opinions you are forming aren't accurate. You are too young to "believe in" anything and that's why when a person gets baptized those witnesses are the strong ones until you yourself can take over and choose or learn the religion yourself.

Years ago there was a tobacco sold in a small tin can..it was called Prince Albert. Prince Albert was the husband to Queen Victoria of England.. so us kids would call up a store and ask..Do you have Prince Albert in a can? And of course they would say YES! So we would answer..WELL LET HIM OUT! A very very old joke for sure.

LOL....I think it was Prince Albert cigars that were sold in a can with a pic of the Prince on the can. So the joke was to call a store and ask if they had Prince Albert in a can. Silly, yes. Same as asking if they had pickled pigs's feet, lol.

That's an old one. Prince Albert tobacco use to come in a can. People use to make prank phone calls to stores and ask if they had Prince Albert in a can. If the clerk said yes the prankster would say , " you better let him out before he suffocates". Now I feel really old.

Prince Albert is a brand of pipe tobacco which is sold in cans.
Prince Albert was also the name of Queen Victoria's husband.
Hence, the person prank calls and asks if you have Prince Albert in a can. You think he means the tobacco, so you say "yes." Then he reveals he means the actual Prince by saying you had better let him out.
Jokes aren't funny after you have to explain them...

people used to call a toilet the 'can', as in, "I gotta go to the can and take a (whatever)". So, if Prince Albert was in there, you should let him out.
There was another similar joke: Call someone up and ask if the road, or street, runs in front of his house. If he or she answers, "yes", you then say, "well, you better run outside and stop it, ha-ha-ha." Hang up the phone. Very 50s.
