It sure is, I did this when my brother was pined under the car after a wreck we had. I read were a women of 107 pounds lifted a station wagon off her son. I also saw a black man rip a door open saving a womens life, the car was wrecked and burning. When I say riped open he tore the door off. I have also seen a girl break a pair of hand cuffs, that takes over 2 thousand pounds of pressure to break. People can become supper strong when they have an andrenaline rush. But it seem to be more so when a life is at stake, many people have performed supper human feats world wide.

It depends on who's doing the lifting and what sort of car you're talking about.

I watched a friend of mine (a HUGE dude) lift the back end of a Dodge Neon about a foot off the ground and hold it there for about thirty seconds, and that was not on an "adrenaline rush". He was just showboating.

I've heard stories about it. I suppose anything is possible.

I personally have seen a few fairly amazing things accomplished through the power of an adrenaline rush.

I have seen someone lift someone else of the same weight with only one arm.

I have seen someone lift and move a felled tree off of someone's leg that probably weighed over 1000 lbs.
