No! It is estimated that global warming will “seriously” affect us (like famine, drought, crop failure, ect.) in around 2050 or less depending on how fast we pollute the environment. Since the ice caps ARE already melting there will be a rise in sea level, and when (not if) the sea level is high enough, goodbye coastal cities around the world. After awhile all low land will be gone and the higher ground will suffer from drought and drought leads to famine. Have you noticed that there have been “slight” climate changes and more natural disasters (wildfires, hurricanes, ect.)? These are caused by global warming due to our increasing population emitting more CO2 into the atmosphere. Then one day if the global warming problem isn’t solved, I hope you like your children living on a Venus-like planet. Global warming will affect you unless you think that you would be dead by 2040 – 2050, and it will affect your children too.

I did a report on this last year. We are already experiencing the effects of global warming. Weather changes. Ice caps melting at an astonishing pace. If humans don't start doing something in the near future we're all screwed. The known oil reserves are almost dry but nobody will admit this is true.

Logic suggests what your age is now, and the time ratio of global warming. There are people that don't buy the Global Warming Warnings. Too bad for them. I think it would be selfish thinking that we should ignore this subject for future generations sake. I think it would really suck being the generation that did ourselves in. As a conservative, I have taken steps to conserve energy.
There is a web-site called CARE2, that have easy ways to help us help ourselves.
You know if we make just one stupid mistake, we can kiss it all good-by. I won't mention what it is, I don't want to supply information to some idiot that would like to attempt it.

In the news it said 2007 will be the hottest year on record, partly because of the high amount of greenhouse gases in our atmosphere. So guess what? The bad effects of global warming are happening right now!

It's already taking place, as for when sea levels will or might wipe us out, maybe we still will be alive, like 20 or 30 something for me.
Considering how fast we use up our resources, but this is just a guess.

Dont worryabout it, all the stories you have heard are complete cr*p, ice caps melting, havent they always melted, polar bears dying of heat exhaustion! etc etc etc.
Just to put your mind at rest type in 'global warming' into the yahoo search for questions, you will see just as many replies and reasons to state its all cr*p, and some good sites to visit.
Yes we will all be dead, before the 'second coming' also that is just as factual as the gle melting!
