the anti-christ has to be around, just sitting and waiting for the time to come out. he knows who he'll be. but he still doesn't know when Jesus will return.

1 John 4:3 If a prophet does not acknowledge Jesus, that person is not from God. Such a person has the spirit of the Antichrist. You have heard that he is going to come into the world and he is already here.
The Antichrist will be a person who epitomizes all that is evil, and he will be received by an evil world. The "spirit of the Antichrist" is already here.
I believe that the cults (the counterfeits) are the spirit of the Antichrist. They use Bible terms like "Jesus Christ, Resurrection, Salvation and Atonement" but apply entirely different meanings. We are repeatedly warned in Scripture to watch out for false prophets, false teachers, and false doctrine.

Yes.... Anti- means preposition signifying against, opposite of, or contrary to.
So Anyone or anything that is Anti - Jesus, Is consider to be the Anti-Christ. He has always been with us since Adam sold out the Power given him (The Power over every living creature spoken of in Gensis).
If you are asking about the one spoken of who will be killed and satan brings back to life to deceive many.
I truly believe only the Lord knows this and will set it up and carry it out just like the written word proclaims..

"Young children, it is the last hour, and, just as YOU have heard that antichrist is coming, even now there have come to be many antichrists...." - 1 John 2:18.
There are many antichrists from the time of John onward til now. They are those of whom it is said "They went out from us, but they were not of our sort; for if they had been of our sort, they would have remained with us. But they went out that it might be shown up that not all are of our sort. And you have an anointing from the holy one; all of you have knowledge." - 1 John 2:19, 20.
Verse 20 says "Who is the liar if it is not the one that denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, the one that denies the Father and the Son."
Antichrist means against or instead of Christ. Basically you could say the antichrists are those who claim that they are his representatives but teach lies in his name, the ministers of false religions.

I believe there is only one, in its strict defenition... and I think he is already living among men, his time is near. I would expect him to be a Jew to fulfill scripture, and I think he is already in the political arena. I don't think he knows he is the anti-christ... not yet, it may be his dream however... Satan will enpower him when his time comes (possibly posses him) The other alternative is that he is born *special as the anit-christ, a child sacrificed by some Satan worshipers leaving him possesed from that moment. I don't think it will be from birth... rather some poor soul who will make a covenant with him and get possesed.

Antichrist will not be born of the womb or possess a human body. Satan is Antichrist and will be supernatural and able to perform miracles to deceive the whole world. “Anti” in the Greek means “instead of” or instead of Christ.
CHRIST SPEAKING
(Luke 10:18-19) And He said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. (19) Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
SATAN BOOTED OUT – DRAGON SERPENT DEVIL
(Rev.12:7-9) And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, (8) And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. (9) And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
SATAN THE SERPENT - BEGUILES
(II Cor.11:3) But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
SATAN HIMSELF – TRANSFORMED INTO AN ANGEL OF LIGHT
(II Cor.11:14-15) And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. (15) Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
SATAN CLAIMING TO BE GOD
(II Thes.2:3-4) Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; (4) Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
SATAN WILL DECEIVE THE WHOLE WORLD
(Dan.9:27) And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
CHRIST SPEAKING
(Mark 13:21-22) And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is there; believe him not: (22) For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.

Well, at my blacksmith camp, i was called the anti-Christ because I said I didn't believe in god, so if you want to believe the guys who called me that, then yes there is an anti-Christ who walks among us. But, in my opinion, I don't think that there ever will be an anti-Christ.

The "VICAR OF CHRIST" is ANTI-CHRIST.
Christ told his followers to keep the commandments. The Popes have methodically broken them all.
Everytime a catholic person calls the pope "Holy Father" they are calling him God. The name "Holy Father" is found only ONE time in the entire Bible and it refers to God the Father.
Entitled "Pope" or "pater patrum" in Latin, that is "Father of the Fathers."
