poison oak?

I it true that if you have poison oak and take a warm to hot shower it will spread.

It can spread the oil, so can handling the clothes you were wearing, so wash carefully.

I'd try to dry the rash with calimine, or benadry or at least baking soda as a first line of defense. And of course try not to scratch.

yes, it is an irritating oil, oil and warm water results in spreading
