A prolonged period of vomiting is likely to have a variety of secondary side effects. Some of which are fairly obvious (and you've already observed!):
You will be dehydrated (alcohol does this anyway, and vomiting just makes it worse). Your electrolytes will be out of balance. This makes you blood a little acidic which is likely to make you feel sore. You are also likely a bit short of calories, which should make you feel sluggish and cloudy-headed. Much of this will go away shortly once you keep down some fluid and food (if you're having trouble keeping things down still, the recommended easy-to-digest foods are bananas, toast, and applesauce).
Of course, there could be some longer term effects, but they don't usually show up. You can tear your thoat or the acid can damage it. Indeed, a lot of things can actually get torn, strained, or otherwise messed up - you're body's activating an emergency last ditch defense.
But all in all, I'd probably be more worried about whatever made you drink that much alcohol in the first place. That what really going to be threatening you in the future. If for no other reason than that this might all happen again.

Have you tried being active, like walking around and whatnot? I've always found that the best cure for a hangover is being active. You can also take Airborne, which helps. If you have a headache and sensitivity to sunlight and noise, etc, then ibuprofin works wonders. I don't think your body is damaged, but you definately don't want to drink as much as you did on a regular basis, because it could have some pretty bad effects on your body. The only immediate damage throwing up tons of bile could do is damage to your throat for throwing up so much acid. Keep yourself hydrated and you should be fine. If you're not feeling better in 1-2 days, I would see a doctor.

Alcohol is broken down into a lot of **** but mainly acetyl aldahyde. This stuff is poisonous to us at a certain level. Your body tries to expell it when it is at high levels in your blood (puking). Unfortunately it sticks around for a while before its broken down into other stuff. Basically the drunkness is still going on. On a big night of boozing it can take 3 days or so to recover. Good luck. If this was a one off type thing you have felt the short term effects and there shouldnt be anything long term.

I had a friend once who was sick for days after getting drunk. She finally went to the doctor and had a blood test done...they said that she had alcohol poisoning.
I would drink lots of water. Alcohol and vomiting can really dehydrate you, which can make you feel like crap. Take it easy and get lots of rest. I definitely wouldn't drink for a while, give your body some time to recuperate.

A hangover is basically dehydration. If u can keep anything down today, drink a lot (not alcohol). Try things with salt/sodium which help u retain the fluids.

Are you sure that yellow stuff that you were throwing up wasn't liquor? I doubt it was bile.
