Can a square circle exist. The claims made about god also prove that he cannot exist. He is perfect, He is all knowing, He is all powerful, He is just and merciful, He has no beginning and no end. What was he doing for an eternity prior to creation? Sitting on his throne up in heaven in a state of perfect blissful happiness. Why then would he change anything? We only change something when there is something lacking in our lives, If there was something lacking in god's life then he is not perfect, therefore not god. All the claims made about god are inconsistant with observed reality. Evolution is supported by overwhelming evidence. There is nothing at all that is inconsistent with the observed evidence supporting the theory. For example, the bones of a rabbit have never been found alongside the bones of a dinosaur.

The theory of evolution will most likely be proven with advancements in genetics. By "theory of evolution" I mean the mechanism that drives the evolutionary process, since that is what that term means.

by the nature of God, you can't prove existence.

Prove in a scientific sense means to provide such a weight of evidence for any given phenomenon that it would be perverse to challenge its validity. That species evolve is not in question-that is the fact of evolution proven beyond any doubt. The mechanisms whereby they evolve are subject to conjecture-that is the theory of evolution but I don't see any competing theory to natural selection which means that to all intents and purposes it is as proven as anything in science can be.

Evolution is a fact:

As for the other one:

Nobody can prove any gods, much less a specific god, exist; many people will tell you their god exists but no others, but will never be able to prove it, even if they think so. Some will threaten you with eternal pain or promise eternal joy to get you to believe in their god; these are all stories, created for people who were scared long before we understood the universe. Now we have no more reason for these superstitions.

Well, both of these theories have already been proven in the minds of the people who believe them, but, the only way one can definitively be shown to be true is if God proved it Himself. I don't think the fossils are coming back to life.

Evolution has been pretty much proved no matter what anyone says, that's why science bases so much on evolution because it's basically a fact that you can use to help with experimentation and even with medicine..I still believe in a "God" but in my own way..and I need no-one to prove that to me

Yes, evolution has been proved in the normal sense of the word proof. Nothing else to say here, move along.

Neither can be proven experimentally but only conjectured based on the interpretation of evidence.
