As long as it is hate for someone who isn't Christian (or a Christian who has done something bad that you don't consider a "real" Christian), it's ok if there is no chance of converting them. However, you must always tell people you love them even when you hate them, but you don't have to act on it. Sometimes, you might want to do something nice for someone you hate in order to show how much better you are.

At least, this is how it works in practice. Most religions are the same in this regard.

Technically, no hate is permitted in Christianity. As Jesus said, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." So if you want everyone to hate you, it's perfectly acceptable to hate everyone else. Personally, I don't know anyone whose goal in life is to be universally hated, but hey--there could be someone out there!

The commandment from Christ is to "... love thy neighbor as thy self".... this would preclude hate being an option for those of The True Christian Faith.

Hating sin.

But, while it's okay to hate the sin, we Christians love the sinner.

Just like God.

God hates sin, but he sure loves the sinner.

Hate can be a good thing, if we hate the correct thing. "O you lovers of Jehovah, hate what is bad". That dosen't include people, just bad things people do. We love people.
