Oh oh oh..the Cedar Waxwing is such a gorgeous bird..however, they just recently migrated here to southern Louisiana and became a nuisance to the local agricultural. Had never seen them here before. Had only seen them up in Ontario Canada. My favorite of all wild birds is the Pileated Woodpecker..a relative of the Ivory Bill which is considered extinct ( OH i hope not!). I love the call of the pileated..almost a laughter! My other fav is the aningah. a water fowl here that is absolutely beautiful!

I am a birder and I always say its the bird I am looking at! Its really hard to say which is my favorite. I think in the United States its the Black-throated Blue Warbler. In Mexico its the Brown-backed Solitaire. Its not much to look at, but it has the most beautiful song I have ever heard. It sounds like a waterfall of broken glass. In Ecuador its the Long-wattled Umbrella Bird.

I have 40 African Grey's, 20 Cockatiels, 25 lovebirds, && 19 Leadbeater's cockatoo.
My favs out of the bunch is my African Greys'.
They have a mind of a 5 year old.

I am not a bird person but I would have to say the flamingo. Probably b/c I have never been bitten or pecked or pooped on by one before.

Parakeets, they are cute little mini parrots that are extremely friendly and can learn to talk.

parrot they are cute birds well as cute as a bird could be. For me I think mammals are cuter. But a parrot I think is cute.
