I want to lose weight so I can weigh at least 110, and at most 130. I went on the UAB diet and lost about five pounds, and now I weigh 145. I'm not at all fat, but being a black girl, I have thick thighs. I want to become an amateur model during my college years of becoming a psychiatrist. HELP The problem is though, I love food, so I can't starve myself, and I'm not even considering belimia. I exercise so why can't I lose alot of weight fast? I'm in the 11 grade now, but four years ago, I weighed 105. So what is it?

110 would be way too skinny for your height! Im 110 and Im 5ft3 and I wear a size 1. Youd disappear. 120 sounds good,I guess even where your at now. Dont eat meat(particularly red meat). egg whites only, cheese, sauce, dressing, all fat free only. Cook with cooking spray only, never oil and butter. Portion out your food or prepare less. Youll still be satisfied but the more you make the more youll eat. No soda

Honestly, I think 110 lbs. is too thin for a girl who's 5'7", even if you are trying to get into modeling. If you really want to shed some pounds, first of all set a reasonable, attainable goal for yourself, like try to lose 5 pounds by March. Once you get there, you can set another goal to lose another 5 pounds by June. That will be 10 pounds, and in my opinion that is plenty of weight for you to lose, but if you still want to lose more, just keep going like that, with a 5-pound goal weight loss every 3 months. It will be a lot easier to do than just resolving to drop 30 pounds, and also it will be really motivational for you to reach your goals every 3 months instead of waiting for the big payoff. To reach the small goals, just try exercising your butt, abs, and thighs doing simple crunches and Pilates exercises for just 10-15 minutes each morning. Then during the day, don't starve yourself or give up your favorite foods- just eat smaller portions of what you want to eat so you don't feel deprived. The first week is the hardest, but after that your stomach will shrink a little and you won't feel as hungry. Don't feel bad- gaining weight is what girls are supposed to do when they become women- the fat deposits are natural and beautiful, but it is good to see you taking an interest in a healthy way to keep your figure. Good luck!!

girl i am a black girl with big thighs to...what u suggest you do is 2 get down to the size u should be if u r over weight if not then don't try 2 get smaller b/c like others have said it won't be 2 attractive....and as for modeling you could be a plus size model nothing is wrong with that.....u should talk to your parents about seeing a doctor for tips on how to slim down...u might wnt to check out for info. on the internet..however whatever you do do not buy any kind of stuff they sell on tv because truth is they will just get rid of the water fat and you'll get dehydrated and you will get sick...and on top of all that you will just end up gainin the weight back and maybe more...so yea but i say u just love your body just the way it is....if u meant 2 be a model you will be...just look at toccara for instance....and don't lose hope u will be whatever u want 2 be...

well, I'm 16, 5'7 1/2...about 5'8 and about 128 pounds. (i model) i no how you feel about loving food...i do too. you are just about tall enough. so if you really want to do modeling then it will be easy to take some of the pounds off. what i did was ate all the same things i usually did but put them into smaller portions. And like if you drink regular milk go to 2% milk. and low fat cheese. It taste the same and its better for you. Good luck!

Try eating healthier foods and possibly increase the level which you exercise at (at the same token be sure to eat enough protein and carbs to maintain higher levels of exercise). By an increased level I mean change the setting on the bike and have goals to gradually move up levels. You won't see results overnight but in 4-6 months you can probably surprise yourself.

At 5'7" you should weigh 135 for an ideal weight. If you are at 110 you will look like a skeleton!

You are perfectly normal. I am 5 foot 6 and weigh 137 pounds and the Doctor says I am completely normal. Don't worry. I think peole like you and me are the prettiest kind. We aren't overweight. And we aren't bony either. The truth is that fatter girls are prettier than skinny girls. You wouldn't want to be skinny. Be proud that you don't way that much. FAT GIRLS RULE.

dude all u need to lose is 10 pounds, if your 110 that is disgusting and u will look anorexic. add 5 pounds onto 100 for every inch you are over 5ft so you should be about 135 to be healthy.

your metabolism starts to change as you get older. maybe what you should try to do is cut back on what you eat. for example is u eat 2 tacos for breakfast try to go down to 1. if you for example mcdonald's for lunch instead of having a large fries large drink and burger try getting regular size fries and drink also try drinking a little more water, also keep exercising
