Odd question I know, but i've been ill recently and my appetite has gone completely, and my face is looking a bit gaunt...is it even possibly to loose weight in the face if you're not getting any smaller in the body!?

Yes, stop skipping meals and running on empty. This is exactly what will make your face look like that.
Eat nutritious foods with lots of minerals like greens and fruits, chlorella. Just make yourself eat breakfast and every 3 hours.
>You're welcome!!<
Maybe you can try eating simple foods like apples, peaches, avocados and other fresh raw fruits for now. These foods are easy to digest. All it takes is to eat (or make yourself eat) to get hungry again.
Actually, you didn't say what kind of illnes you had/have, but did you know animals in nature instinctively stop eating when they are sick? This is because that way their bodies can eliminate whatever it is that is making them sick. It is detoxification, really. Eating food slows down detoxification because a lot of energy is needed to digest foods, so a lot less energy is available to actually clean up the system and eliminate toxins. You can help your body with the detoxification process by drinking fresh raw juices and by eating unprocessed, raw fruits and some vegetables (greens, celery, sprouts and such). Juicing is a good way to get your calories without having to eat, if you can't. I hope this helps.

If you are concerned about adding fat around your face or want to lose it, then add 2 cardio sessions 1st thing in morning
Using hit - sprinting on road or treadmill for 20/30 mins.
Use following combo of supplements before and after cardio.
On waking [eg 5:30] -200mg caffeine (red sub) and water and 500mg carnitrine
5:45 am -20g whey protein in water
6am – train cardio (finish at 6:30)
6:45 am 20g whey protein in water
Sprint for 2 mins then fast walk for 1 min, repeat this 10 times twice a week in conjunction with a low fat diet will certainly strip any fat from your face, you'll notice results in 2 weeks FACT. Its tough but if you want that chiseled defined look it comes at a price, no pain no gain, good luck.

Just make sure it isn't due to dehydration!!!! You could wind up with an IV in your arm at the hospital. Yes, your face can lose weight. I've had it happen.

some people actually do loose weight in their face first....you may even notice that your friends and family comment that you look thinner...even though your body is the same.
