I mean cows, chickens and pigs raised with proper nutrition and without chemicals. Are they free from experiencing cruelty. Are they healther to consume then conventional animals.

I am just curious.

Think of their environments... They can't be that free from cruelty.

You just can't dwell on it- or else become vegan. =) I fought with it for awhile.

Nearly all animals raised for food undergo cruelty. The organic label often means less than most people think. The only real way to find out is to visit a local organic farm and inspect the premisis to see for yourself the conditions in which the animals are kept.

Animals on farms are not treated cruelly. While it is true that we must kill them to eat them, it is done quickly without pain.

The hormones they are putting in the meat is a different story. The antibiotics they are addind topoultry is another story.

yes,it may not be "ideal',but it is definetly better than the conventional method.

-no hormones
-no antibiotics
-less fat(99% less fat than typical grain fed animals)
-they have to be let out for a certain amount of time each day
-better food
