It has to be what people say when you sneeze...i hear it every day...."bless you" .....it is an old superstition that evil spirits were expelled from a person body when he sneezes and so the "blessing" was appropriate.

Another account says it is a fear that when a person sneezes he is nerest death. (his soul may have been sneezed out) and the blessing is that God may extend his life.

another superstition that has affected many people:
God's name was removed from the bible in thousands of places and replaced with capital LORD and GOD due to Jewish superstition.

Okay, so you've asked for no quotes. So I won't post a quote. First off, since you believe so strongly that there is no God, why are you asking this question? I'm not trying to do a "look around you" thing, but the proof is EVERYWHERE. Read your history. Look at all the ways people have accomplished impossible things, or have been saved from certain death and torture. Do you think that those things just "happened", that there was no One behind it all? Look into the face of a true Christian, someone who is truly on fire for the Lord, and then try to tell me that what they believe in isn't real. That what they believe is stupid and imaginary. If you can, then you obviously are denying what you see. I'm not trying to start an argument, and I hope you don't take it that way. But I really and truly believe in Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior. You can't blame me for that, since you seem to have such a strong faith in the fact that all of this is just "supersition".

Christianity is the most common superstition. Though, you could say that belief in a god is the most common, if you want to be more general. Religious people believe that superstition.

Superstitions come from our imaginations. They are promoted through fear or other emotional manipulation.

It seems to me that a good number of (so-called) "religious"-people believe many 'superstitions' and/or other non-sensical things.

The most common superstition in the world today is/are religious-belief/s....belief/s in any supernatural beings/occurrences. IMO

That men are Superior to woman, and that women are unclean because they menistrate. I guess this is not a belief, just the subliminal thinking of the world.
