You can research a decent selling price at www.edmunds.com.

But I can tell you this: When folks buy your Eclipse, they will be buying your car. Not your stereo system, your aftermarket wheels, your tint, or your $800 paint job.

They will be buying a car with a salvage title which will automatically reduce the asking price you find on Edmunds by 25% to 75%.

At most, with your paint negotiated in, you can ask around $1500 but expect to get no more than $1200.

Two options:
Take it to CarMax and see what they offer you to buy it, or investigate this yourself using the websites listed below. Each will have a series of questions about the car, milage, condition, etc and give you an estimated price.

I would go to at least two and take the average. You could also print the screen to give to your prosepective buyer to show that your are being fair.

These websites are also good to reference when you want to buy another car, new or used, to make sure you are getting a good deal.

The best way to check the price on your car is to go to www.kbb.com, its the kelly blue book webstie they have the different price range and also help you on what condition your car is and the estimated price in which you should sell your car.
